Erlenmatt West, located in Basel, Switzerland is a sustainable urban development certified ‘2,000 Watts’, a distinction reserved for projects designed and operated in a sustainable way.
The mixed-use complex consists of 600 homes, office space, restaurants and retirement living that includes 63 homes and 56 care units.
The complex is fully powered by renewable energies through a heat network and the green roofs are equipped with photovoltaic panels.
